About

We Are Non Profit Organization

At Daughters of Africa, we are a registered Non-profit with  the Charity Number: 2016/C3770 and Daughters of Africa Ngo A47, we believe that sustainable development begins when people are equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to improve their own lives and communities. We work closely with women, young people, educators, community leaders, healthcare professionals, institutions, and development partners to co-create solutions that respond to local challenges while building long-term resilience.

Our programmes are designed to address some of the most pressing development challenges facing communities today, including educational inequality, youth unemployment, gender inequality, financial exclusion, limited access to digital skills, and barriers to personal and professional development. By investing in people, we help create lasting change that extends beyond individuals to families, schools, communities, and future generations.

Our Vision

is a society where empowered women and girls, youth, and communities lead their own development, creating equitable, resilient, and sustainable societies built on knowledge, partnership, and opportunity.

Our Mission

is to empower women and young people through education, leadership development, skills exchange, community engagement, and sustainable development initiatives. We believe that communities themselves hold the solutions to many of the challenges they face. For this reason, our work is rooted in partnership, participation, co-creation, and local leadership. Rather than delivering short-term interventions, we focus on building local capacity, strengthening community ownership, and creating opportunities that generate sustainable impact. Today, DOAF serves as a platform where communities, educators, professionals, volunteers, development partners, and young people come together to learn, innovate, and create positive change.
