Who We Are

A Community-Led Organization Creating Lasting Change Daughters of Africa (DOAF) is a registered non-governmental organization founded in The Gambia in 2016. At Daughters of Africa, we believe that sustainable development begins when people are equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to improve their own lives and communities.We work closely with women, young people, educators, community leaders, healthcare professionals, institutions, and development partners to co-create solutions that respond to local challenges while building long-term resilience.

The Daigo Partnership

connecting Communities Through Global Learning. One of our flagship initiatives, the Daigo Partnership, brings together Daughters of Africa and the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) to provide young people with leadership training, digital skills, vocational education, international learning opportunities, and pathways to employment.
